I love to play in BNRs and BNSs on etsy.com. BNRs and BNSs are great ways to have fun with other etsians. They are treasuries that include of bingo, trivia, games, shopping and fun! Here in this thread I will explain all about them. Make sure you have a shop to play them!!
BNR stands for Buy N' Replace. It is a quicker, fast paced game. You ask for permission to shop the shop you want. Once you have permission to shop, you purchase from the shop. You will immediately replace the shopped store on the board and be available for others to shop you! It is important to listen to the curator and follow directions. In this treasury game, there is usually a game of trivia or bingo somewhere from 7 to 10 Eastern time.
BNS stands for Buy N' Stay. It's similar to a BNR, but instead of being featured immediately you will be featured in the next round. In a BNS there typically is a random number game where you choose a number and whomever's number gets pick receives either a future feature or a gift card to a donator's shop.
In both of these boards there is minimum amount of money to spend. You don't have to shop, you can just hang out at the board, play bingo and promote the shops! The more you spend, the more future features you get. The minimum is usually anywhere between 3 and 5 dollars. Also, when you shop, you get a coupon for the store! It is typically between 10% to 25% off, depending on what the shop owner chooses.
At first these games might seem unusual, but they are really fun. You get to socialize with other players (and non players). Playing bingo and trivia is very enjoyable. It's also nice to, in a sense, "trade items". I like to be able to shop, but get a discount, be featured in a BNR or BNS and have lots of pleasure playing! I hope this has explained to about BNRs and BNSs. If you have any questions, just contact me.
