I love lemon-lime soda. And I love gummies. So why not put them together into a satisfying, cool treat! It's perfect for a hot day and I assure you, the kids will love it! Hi, friend! Today I am going to show you how to make your own pot scrubbers. I made these because I don't like the idea of all those germs living in sponges. Yuck. And these are just plain cute, don't ya think? So here is the pattern for these handy-dandy pot scrubbies. Hi there! I've been trying to improve my etsy shop lately and I have come to the conclusion that branding is very important for every single shop. I probably wouldn't buy from a shop that I had no clue about. So instead of writing today, I decided to make a graphic. Here are the main tips for branding: Hello, friend! If you're like me, your pincushion always gets lost in the middle of a sewing project which is when you need it most! So I set out to find a solution, and here it is! A pincushion that ties onto your sewing machine. It's such a great idea and I had to share it with you! This convenient pincushion keeps your pins at hand. So, you haven't been getting any sales. That's a bummer. But, I may have an answer for you. You probably need to update or work on your SEO. That stands for Search Engine Optimization. And you need it to be able to sell online and be found. Last time I checked, there were 31,239,681 items on etsy. That's a lot. I can't even imagine how you would be found on etsy without SEO. So Here is where I come in. Here are some tips on SEO. Hey there, friends and welcome to Rainy Day Bliss! First, I'd like to introduce myself. I'm Julie. I love summer, nature and everything crafty and colorful. Organizing is also one of my obsessions. :) Above here is my cottage in Canada. I dream of it everyday. Here in this blog I will share recipes, etsy tips and tricks, diy projects, sewing tutorials, crochet, organizing and more. I hope you enjoy yourself! I called this blog Rainy Day Bliss because that's how I feel on rainy days. You hear the pitter-patter of the rain on the roof. I love snuggling up with a good book and a cup of tea on a rainy day. Don't you? That seems like an ideal day. Of course, I also love sunny days. But Sunny Day Bliss doesn't have as much of a ring to it, ya know? Below here is my workspace, currently moved into my brand new shed. It's a big improvement from a tiny table in a corner! I store part of my ever-growing yarn stash in the shoe organizer to the right. On the table to the left is my sewing table. This weekend I am going to get a rotary cutter and mat which will go on the opposite side of the table. I would show you the other half of the shed....but I am still working on it. There is a tall bureau that holds my fabric stash and a cupboard that, currently holds pool toys. But I hope to move those outside as soon as the weather warms up. There is also an old TV, which takes up a lot of space, and a mini fridge. Those are very convenient. :) Thank you for reading this! I hope to have many more blog posts to come! You will find out in my second post whether they are short and sweet or a short novel. Even I don't know yet. :)
